Brakes

Brake Pad Replacement

This is because we will remove all four tires to expose the wheel. The brake pad will be removed and replaced with new items and then once secured, the tire will be mounted once again. Pay close attention to any additional noise your car may produce when you press down on the brake pedal, as well as the amount of time it takes for the car to respond to this command. You may notice some warning signs after 10,000 to 20,000 miles driven.
Brake Pad Types
There are three main kinds of brake pad materials. Based on the amount of money you have and the amount of time you’d like to wait between services, you can make your choice. I went sheehy Fredricksburg because previously I had a battery replaced at the Stafford location and it took 3 visit to complete it right. At the Fredericksburg location he showed me a list of things that needed to be done half of them had already been done he said well there showing on the list. I told him if he looked on the service record he could see the work ,said he couldn’t because it wasn’t done there, but he could tell I refused things? I agreed on a transmission service but I told him I think I already had that done (I should probably keep better track of) so when he was wring up the ticket he says oh you already at it done? They serviced my car I hope, and he tells me my back brakes are in the red and front are in the yellow and it’s a safety issue. I told him we really have an issue then because I had the back brakes done a couple months ago at the Stafford location so either they didn’t do the work and charged me or someone here doesn’t know what they are doing he called the mechanic up and asked him did you check the brakes or write that because that was the recommendation. The mechanic said his tool was right and he got another one and the brakes are fine. ”
